Even time I go into Petland Davie I have an amazing experience! The staff is always so helpful with their knowledge of animals and training of dogs. Recently I noticed they had renovated the store, which looks amazing. From what I've seen, the store is very clean and extremely sanitary; even smells incredible, which I'm sure is difficult when working with animals. I took home my beautiful German Shepherd baby from a Petland in the past and have had nothing but happiness, healthiness and an overall amazing experience with the newest member of my family! The process was more than easy (I financed my puppy) and she is now my emotional support animal! The way the staff members speak to customers and other employees is super inviting and friendly. I will DEFINITELY be visiting for a long time and bringing home the next member of my family in the future!
I was a loyal customer to Petland Davie, I bought my first puppy from them 2 years ago. Wanting to get a companion for my puppy dog, I went in today only to hear that they are under new ownership in the last 2-3 months and have more the DOUBLED their pricing and that is with their advertised 25% off!! They are saying that they have made so many new changes. As a previous customer, who has also referred others to them, I know what was offered before and have seen Petland making changes toward more ethical breeders over the past couple of years. This is not new. The package they are offering with their puppies is not new either. Mostly the same with only one small change. Definitely not worth the extra $2000! I negotiated with them, only to be told that out of their now 8 financing companies (used to only be 2) not one came back with an offer. I have applied in the past and I have always at very least got back an approval with a deposit required. My credit score is better now then before! Petland lied! They didn't even run my application because they did not want to sell the puppy for our negotiated price! New owner does not care for repeat/loyal customers! Nor do they care for the puppies as they are only chasing the $$$$. I am so disappointed in Petland now and will be sure to stop referring anyone I know to Petland. They have lost a loyal customer. I loved going to see their puppies in the past, but I will not support new ownership and their price gouging. The puppy package has barely even changed and there is no way they are paying thousands of more $$ for their puppies. What a shame.
Britney, Jenna, Courtney was very excellent towards my family. We lost a puppy she came from a mill. :-( I wanted so bad to make the girls feel better from their grief. We end up having a Saint Bernard. My nieces are so happy. My sister too. Writing this makes me want to cry. The joy in their face. Is so priceless. Thank You Petland Staff for being so understanding. You guys rock!!!
Amazing experience. My pet counselor was very knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect furry match for my family and I. They even included the food and vitamins for my puppy, making the new home transition much easier. Thanks again!!!
You can tell the puppies are being treated amazingly great when they come out all clean and happy! The store looks amazing! Jenna came up to me with a warming greeting, and answered my questions professionally, and now I set up an appointment to bring my dog home :)
