I thought the entrance fee was reasonable the gift shop was overpriced but the staff and grounds were well manicured and very friendly. A very peaceful stroll at your leisure if you why are you can ride the trolley with a conductor and narrator. Also some local history given very interesting very beautiful
Great place to spend an afternoon! There are plenty of animals to see here, such as panthers, bears, and birds of prey. They also have a 25 minute tram tour that takes you through native Florida Everglades plantlife. There is plenty to do here for the money, and it's a sanctuary so it's nice knowing the animals here are getting a chance at life that they otherwise wouldn't have. I definitely suggest checking this place out!
This place is a rehab/sanctuary! They've got animals on display that can't be released back to the wild! Our favorite part was the animal show where they teach you about a few animals and you get to meet them! Good for people of all ages. You can hand feed flamingos. The birds are the best part, the larger animals were a bit sad. Overall though the place was surprisingly great!
This place is great! The animals are all rescued and rehabilitated to hopefully one day be released back into the wild. And if not they try their best to care for them. There is a wild bird area that is fun to walk through. Josh the bear is adorable. And seeing the peacocks walk around is a neat experience. The staff who work here are extremely nice and welcoming. Never had a problem or complaint. I've visited this place at least 3 to 4 times a year for the past 3 years and each time I still have fun. It's a relaxing place and fun to take pictures. They also have a cute gift shop. I have bought many cute stuffed animals. Fun to family and children.
Amazing loved it. Candy our tour guide was awsome!! Very educational and fun rolled into one place. Everyone was very helpful. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the great state of Florida
